I do hope all is well with you all.... and you are having a great start to the week so far, well as I said in my last post that I was going to my wee grandsons first sports day he has Autism and goes to a special needs school well he enjoyed himself so much he wanted to do it all over again the next day, it was from nursery to primary 3 classes and all the children got rainbow medals all winners and so deserved, of course Bobby stopped half way in his first race to join in with everyone clapping bless him... I cant praise his school enough besides the teaching and classroom staff also physio and nurses everyone helped on the day to make it a fabulous day for the children, he had his Great Granny, Nannie,(me) and his Mummy all there on the day four generations

Well  about this card this I made for a friend for her 50th she loves vintage and I know she liked my card as her birthday is over now I hope you like it too...

Birthday Blooms

Hi Chums'

I hope you are all well..... our lovely warm sunshine has gone away, I got so much done outdoors last week

got all my garden fencing stained again and it needed it and some much needed power hosing done too.. mind you I could hardly climb the stairs later with the pain in my knees and hips ohhh'' I did feel really old... :)

Ahh''' well was glad I got it all done, now I just want the lovely weather back again :) I do hope it's good today as I'm off to wee Bobby's sports day this morning so fingers crossed it stays dry at least...

This was a quick and easy card to make, I embossed the white card through my Cuttlebug and matted it onto green card, then all the flowers and topper, border, are all from a pad I've had for ages!!!!!!! years!! 

 and epoxy stickers from stash too...

Ruby Slippers

Hi Chums'

Firstly can I say sorry '' to all my lovely blog friends out there for not being around 

these last few months, I just seemed to fall out with my blog and even tried a few times to get back with it, and was even considering closing it down a few weeks ago I think I just needed time out, and I also apologise for not visiting yours too, so I have decided to keep it open and pop on here when I can I have missed you all and seeing your makes, 

thanks to Cheryl, Lynne, and Sylvia for popping by with your concerns and hoping I was ok I do really appreciate this will be over soon to yours, anyhow enough of me I do hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the sunshine if you have it it has been beautiful here the last 2 days but think the dreaded rain is back tomorrow grrrrr''' well that's enough of my waffle here's a card my best friend asked me to make for her sister who is turning the big 50 and a big Dorothy/ OZ fan, great fun card hope you like it....

8x8" scalloped white card blank

yellow blue red glitter card from stash had for ages

shinny red glitter card is from Create&Craft and is one off the glitter girls range 

not sure if they still do this card... used this card to cut out the slippers, 

I got a free pic online of the slippers and used as a template..

rosette used tonic daisy border punch on edge.

letters and embossing with Cuttlebug

numbers are large peel-off's, insert using Serif ...

Beautiful Tulips

I just love these Tulips I have had these floral decoupage from C&C from I first started card-making not used them in years it was a wee change from stamping... hope you like this one .... S x

To all my lovely friends and followers, I have been struggling with blogging of late, and I'm so trying to get back with it........ Blanket for Teddy

 Hi Chums'

Here's another wee Crochet Blanket but this one is small I made this for my wee granddaughters Charlie Teddy Bear he is cream and light brown in colour so I used the nearest colours I had in my wool stash to try and match the teddy but I added a touch off PINK!!!! well she is a wee girly but I was so excited to her wee face when I gave Katie her Teddy Blanket that I forgot to take pic's, so I rang my son and got him to take some for me and email them to me, well not only are they dark the colours came out all wrong too... believe me the lilac is pale pink and the brown is far lighter than this if I get a chance I will get better pics and change these, my son is no photographer as you can see lol...

This wee blanket is around 24''/30''inches (64cm/76cm) in size

I know!!! I can here you all saying ohhhh''' she back again lol.....
I have really neglected my blog and chums life gets in the way to much
and was finishing this Granny Blanket also which I started so longgggggggg ago
but anyhow!! I do hope all you lovelies are keeping safe and warm and are all doing well..... I have missed popping by your blogs...
This is the finished Granny Blanket below, it was this one that started off my crochet again I just didn't get back to it till last week it not a huge one but it's around (54'' inches) (137cm) square, I gave this to my Mum yesterday it will keep her nice and cosy while she watches the telly!!! I do love these period colours of yarn in this blanket, and the handmade label I got free with the Homemade Mag, these pictures aren't great sorry they are a bit dull.
Sorry it's not a card I hope to make some soon....
